Jamie Candee

Jamie Candee leads Edmentum’s strategic vision and long-term growth as President, CEO, and Board Director. She has put educators and unique student needs at the forefront of Edmentum’s comprehensive K-12 digital solutions, which leverage research-based design and AI-enabled innovation to accelerate learning, increase flexible access, improve student achievement, and enable pathways to careers. Under Jamie’s leadership, Edmentum has grown to serve students in all 50 states and 100+ countries, and now appears annually on the GSV 150 list of the top private companies transforming education and workforce skills.

An important part of Jamie's role is running the Edmentum Academies, through which the organization partners with school districts, sports academies, and families to provide a high-quality high school education that enables student-athletes to pursue their college and professional goals. The Academies have educated thousands of student-athletes across all sports, including many who have gone on to the NCAA, Olympics, and professional leagues.

Jamie is a member of the Aspen Institute’s prestigious Rising Generations Strategy Group and has received numerous awards in her time leading Edmentum, including 2025 Global Leader of the Year from the EdTech Awards, Calibre One’s Top 25 Women Leaders in US PE-Backed Software for 2025, and ASU+GSV’s 2022 POW! (Power of Women) Award.
