Ian Peters

Ian Peters is the Co-Founder and Chief Growth Officer of HITE EQ, a sports technology company helping teams better understand and develop the person behind the player. A former Division I defensive back at Kansas State University, Ian has spent more than a decade in education, coaching, and athlete development.

His experiences as both an athlete and coach led him to recognize a persistent gap in sports: while organizations have become increasingly sophisticated in measuring and developing physical performance, understanding the human side of performance has often remained subjective. Ian co-founded HITE EQ to help close that gap by giving coaches and organizations objective insights into how athletes think, communicate, respond to pressure, lead, and develop over time.

Today, Ian works alongside high school, club, collegiate, and professional sports organizations to explore how technology and better data can support athlete development, evaluation, team culture, and decision-making. He is particularly passionate about ensuring innovation in sports strengthens the developmental experience for athletes and gives coaches better tools to help young people succeed both in competition and beyond it.
